  2. World Trade Center

The original World Trade Center was a complex with seven buildings featuring landmark twin towers in Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States. The complex opened on April 4, 1973, and was destroyed in 2001 during the September 11 attacks. The site is currently being rebuilt with five new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks. As of September 2011[update], only one skyscraper has been completed with four more expected to be completed before 2020. One World Trade Center will be the lead building for the new complex and is expected to be finished by 2013. A sixth tower is still awaiting confirmation to be built. At the time of their completion, the original 1 and 2 World Trade Center were the tallest buildings in the world, surpassing the Empire State Building, also in Manhattan.

  5. My favorite building is the Empire State. It's located in New York and was considered the tallest building in town from 1931 to 1976, losing to the World Trade Center. With 102 floors, it has more than 400 meters high.

My favorite part about the building is the fact that it's the building in which King Kong decided to climb!

  6. I liked the modern part of Valencia. They have different buildings in Spain and a huge cultural complex called Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. They are futuristic constructions and the cultural city with great places to visit, including the Oceanogràfic, Hemisfèric and the Museo de las Ciencias. The first is a large aquarium with fish of all species of the seas and oceans and dolphin shows. The second is a giant screening room, with a concave screen of 900 square meters. And the third is as the name suggests a science museum, with exhibitions. The structure is huge and it takes a whole day to know everything.

  26. E-Tower is a commercial building, situated at Funchal, in Vila Olimpia area, near the Marginal Pinheiros, in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. The building of 392 square meters of floor space, has a helipad (coverage), offices, two restaurants, an auditorium, a semi-Olympic pool, a gym and parking for 800 places. Designed by Aflalo & Gasperini Architects possesses characteristics that qualify as art, as both the constructive aspects of facilities. In the project, there is a differential in relation to program needs and the provision of services available within the building.
Despite these innovations, which draws attention, first, is the height of the building. With 148 meters (ground floor to roof), it is the eleventh highest skyscraper in Brazil and the ninth highest in the city of São Paulo.
The survey, completed in late 2010 and published in 2011 showed that the DAC used in the pillars of e-Tower can provide enough fire resistance to meet the requirements of fire safety legislation in the State of Sao Paulo. The results correspond to a specific concrete mix, but additional research grants to serve for the design of concrete structures of tall buildings in the future.
